Well Water Resources

HydroAnalytical does not take on the liability of providing guidance on deciding what analyses to test for. Due to our inability to accommodate this need, we have compiled a list of resources available to help in this process.

We do however offer a general well water package that may be applicable to your needs. Information for this is below.

Well Water Package

The well water package we offer includes a metals suite, anions suite, pH, total coliform and E.coli.

Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)

The EPA provides plenty of information to well owners on preventative measures, contamination levels, and tests for specific concerns. This link is a good starter site and has many subpages that can be accessed from it.

Center for Disease Control (CDC)

The CDC has information available online explaining what wells and providing guidance into how to maintain them, retire them, and what to do in case of an emergency.

This website provides information on what to test for, what results mean, and for specific concerns.

Local Drinking Water Municipalities

Even if a local public water system is unable to provide you services they may have information on local water contaminants or suggestions on what to test for or limits to reach.

The Kentucky Energy and Environment Cabinet (EEC)

The Kentucky EEC website provides a well owner guide, data records, flooding information, and many resources for more information.
